Tastefully decorated and managed by really polite staff, Totem & Taboo has a lot of products from Auroville itself. From handmade books to incense sticks, the stuff here is really cool and starts from about INR 350. We also found lovely handwoven bags and clutches here made from jute and linen. We totally loved the vegan leather handbag there that comes with camera rolls attached to it.
The clothing rack is filled with kimonos, ponchos, crop tops and pants. We also found tunics from labels like Kimaya and Miniature. You can also pick out some organic cotton sarees, stoles and dupattas starting INR 400. Totem & Taboo also has handblock print dupattas, bikinis, fancy obi belts, linen shirts for men and more.
