What Makes It Awesome

Care for aesthetics too much? You will love Asvah 24 in Neelankarai then. The Srilankan interiors and a petite library within the restaurant add an element of cosiness to it. They even have an open rooftop overlooking the sea offering beachy vibes and soothing sights. And what adds to this awesomeness is their food!

Asvah 24 excels French, Italian as well as Mexican cuisine. We tried their fried chicken with butter chicken dip from their starters, and it was magical. Don't miss their baby pork ribs and beef khurchan tacos! We also recommend their mushroom stuffed with chestnuts. The place is a haven for seafood lovers with shrimp cakes and crab crostini. Moving on to the main course, we tried their Fish pie with tomato and basil salad. Safe to say, it melted in our mouth imparting that slight salty seafood flavour. You could also go for their lamb moussaka or veg carpaccio. They have pasta to try as well.

While we were looking for something continental, we chanced upon the Rabadi. Now if you're someone who has feasted on Rabadi in the gullies of Delhi and Mumbai like us, Asvah 24 will manage to get you excited and nostalgic. Chocolate lovers, you can go for their Mousse Au Chocolat, which is basically a type of melted dark chocolate mousse topped with white chocolate. Or you could go for a sweet and soul kaffir lime pannacotta. If you want to grab a smoke, then they have a separate room for you to do that without polluting the fresh air environment.

What Could Be Better

Though the starters are priced at INR 375, we wish their main course was priced a little lesser.

Pro-Tip

We hear that they have dropped a range of homemade ice creams among other specials, so you might want to check that out, while you take in the blissful ambience!
