Every dessert lover in the city knows about Fresh Baked Goodness and every single one of us has bought some dessert from them or at least enjoyed their delicious treats. But what is still their most famous offering (and rightfully so) is their Theobroma cake. The triple-layered dessert is just filled with indulgent chocolate and if you haven’t gotten your hands on it yet, we’re a little worried.

If you don’t want to take the whole cake home with you, not to worry. You can get their classic three-layer Brahma jar (INR 150), which is the perfect size to indulge in all by yourself.

While Amadora might be famous for their ice creams, they’ve also got a pretty amazing line up of other desserts that go well with their cold, creamy delights. Everything from the Twix Cake to the Mud Pie and the famous brownies are available at their outlets. But we highly recommend their Underbaked (INR 220 onwards) dessert. It might sound strange, but it is absolutely delicious. A chocolate chunk bar that's nice and oh! so gooey. Pair it with a scoop of their Five Bean Vanilla ice cream, and you’re set. It could also totally work as a meal!

While this place offers about 130 varieties of desserts spread across ice creams, tarts, cakes, pies and more, their ice cream and Ferrero Rocher brownie combo is a classic you cannot go wrong with. You can also your pick from their Triple Chocolate Brownie or their Molten Chocolate Chunk Brownie or Nutella Brownie. Doesn't matter. They all taste bomb.

This dessert needs no introduction. A hot favourite at one of Chennai's oldest Italian restaurants, this one's the real OG chocolate lava cake but only better and bombastic. Served with vanilla ice cream, you're going to love sticking your fork in this classic.
