We've picked up bowl sets that are perfect for everyday use as well as fancy bowl sets made from porcelain and bone china that you can bring out on occasions. We've picked these bowl sets from our favourite brands on LBB and otherwise. Oh and we've picked up ceramic, wooden, and even eco-friendly bowls so you are spoilt for choice.

Add colour with VarEsha’s Royal Crown blue ceramic bowls. These are quite small, so not for serving. But if you’re the kind of person who plates up food and serves it, then use this for the dal or sabzi.

LBB Note: These are quite fragile and more than breaking, they’re likely to chip. So be a bit gentle. Especially when putting them into the dishwasher and microwave. We recommend bringing these out when you have friends and family over.

A bit different from what you might have expected, these Baro wooden (made with Sheesham wood) bowls by the brand Think Artly are ideal if you’re doing a three-dish meal. We’re thinking biryani, raita and baingan. Or a lovely cheese pasta, boiled veggies and mashed potatoes (or salad, but that’s too many veggies!).

LBB Note: While most people assume wood will not keep food warm, in fact, it does as it is a great insulator. Perfect for occasions and otherwise.

We love this set from Freedom Tree for its minimalist design and durability. And for INR 740, you can get these two beauties. In a muted midnight blue (black-ish), these ones are compact and ideal for any of your meal accompaniments -- dal, sabzi, and the side for the pasta. Or, use them as snack bowls. They’re a bit too large, at 5 inches, to be used for personal bowls at the table, but for a soup, or a single-person baked dish, go for it!
