Aurobindo market welcomes Delhi’s newest live music venue, bar and restaurant Bandstand. Conceptualised by the good people behind Summer House and Barsoom {talk about a successful track record!}, the venue plans to open before the new year.
A large dance floor, flanked by a long, sturdy bar, sits before the live band stage. The outdoor {read smoking} section is a spacious area dotted with wooden tables and big, open bay windows for ventilation.
The exposed brick and smooth wooden finish wouldn’t be out of place in a hip Brooklyn loft, just sans the annoying undergrads who leave their dirty laundry everywhere. Sitting in the building opposite Summer House Café, Bandstand is ready to take Aurobindo market to the next level. You might never make it as far as Hauz Khas Village ever again!
LBB's MoBros party was held at Bandstand for their soft opening and it was a Jameson-fuelled blast {those of you who came, you know what we're talking about}!
