We were always curious about how Sherlock Holmes and the Famous Five solved riddles, so we decided to check out Freeing India, which is an escape room style game centre in Besant Nagar. They have two more centres in Nungambakkam and Semmancheri as well! For those of you who are unfamiliar with how it works, here's a small gist. You and your squad get locked inside a room and using the codes and puzzles you need to complete the riddles to get out of the room.
Freeing India in Bessy mainly features four-game styles that move away from the traditional alpha-numeric puzzles we’re used to seeing. These guys use a physical approach, making it all the more interesting. There’s fighting with Samurais, swimming through mini oceans and more crazy challenges (virtually, of course) for you to face. Each of their four games lasts for 60 minutes. You can try out their Alice In Wonderland theme or Secrets Of The Past from Russia or Poseidon. They have a Ninja theme too!
Each of the games has its own rules depending on the number of people who can participate with the minimum number being 2. It’s a lot of fun with prices starting at INR 400 per person per game.
