Ardee Mall is becoming a hotspot for some of the best restaurants and stores in Gurgaon and one of our fav entries is Jamie's Pizzeria by Jamie Oliver
Jamie Oliver is a popular British chef and restaurateur, and if you've grown up watching TLC and Fox Traveller shows, you probably already know him (and have a crush on him by now; I do). He has a chain of restaurants across the world, and thankfully, Gurgaon has two of these pizzeria outlets (the other one's in Ambience Mall).
Coming to the Ardee Mall outlet - It's not very spacious but is clean, and neatly organised. I personally love that they've got an open kitchen where you can watch your pizza being made (certainly works up the appetite too), and the comforting pizza aroma is always a plus!
Jamie's offers a long list of pizza options (not so long that you'd get confused), all of which, are hand-stretched and made with only the best ingredients (you can really see!). We ordered two of these - the Quattro Formaggio (we're old school like that) and Chicken Peperonata, and they reached our table super fast actually. There really wasn't anything we'd want to change with the Quattro; It was cheesy (so cheesy!), the cherry tomatoes added a bit of tanginess, and the herbs really did uplift the overall flavour palette. As for the Peperonata, it came loaded with perfectly-roasted chicken, the freshest of Parmesan, herbs, and the olives added a nice, pickle-like taste. Also, yes, the pizza was generously loaded with chicken chunks, but somehow, had an aftertaste we weren't too happy about.
