One friend from Chennai suggested me to visit this place inside the station and we just simply followed it. Surprisingly I noticed Dindigul Thalappakatti and their biryani was on my list from quite long time. As we stepped in, we had to wait for a few minutes before grabbing a seat. With the help from their courteous staff, I learnt the invention of this great biryani and on their recommendation, I ordered for mutton biryani and chicken pepper dry.
Being a biryani lover and after trying more than a dozen varieties from across India, this one is the favourite for me now. It has the perfect spice, tender succulent mutton pieces {hardly any bone!} and well-cooked rice. Overall an amazing biryani I would say. The quantity is good but somehow I wasn't satisfied with one serving and I ended up ordering another. The chicken pepper dry was a great side too.
