What Makes It Awesome

One friend from Chennai suggested me to visit this place inside the station and we just simply followed it. Surprisingly I noticed Dindigul Thalappakatti and their biryani was on my list from quite long time. As we stepped in, we had to wait for a few minutes before grabbing a seat. With the help from their courteous staff, I learnt the invention of this great biryani and on their recommendation, I ordered for mutton biryani and chicken pepper dry.

Being a biryani lover and after trying more than a dozen varieties from across India, this one is the favourite for me now. It has the perfect spice, tender succulent mutton pieces {hardly any bone!} and well-cooked rice. Overall an amazing biryani I would say. The quantity is good but somehow I wasn't satisfied with one serving and I ended up ordering another. The chicken pepper dry was a great side too.

What Could Be Better?

They're so good that they need to set up branches across India, which as of now looks to be something in the distant future.

What's My Pro Tip?

Seating at this railway station restaurant is very limited. Nonetheless, you will find Dindigul Thalappakatti Restaurant across the city on every popular road. But, I really hope the taste remains same.
