Samskruthi Home Foods in Kodambakkam specialises in making homemade Andhra sweets and savouries with pure ghee. They deal with traditional sweets, savouries, organic oil, raw honey, pure ghee, dry fruits and Karachi biscuits.

As you enter, the first thing that your eyes will land on is the potato crisps kept on the shelf along with banana chips and masala peanuts while the next is the glass shelf where you find the sweets - Boondhi Laddu, Madatha Khaja, Kaju Pakkam, Besan Laddu and Boorelu with prices starting from INR 120 for 100 gms.

Samskruthi Home Food also sells packets of Karachi biscuits in three different - plain butter cookies, cashew flavour and almond flavoured. They sell homemade organic oil and pure ghee along with cooking and face powders. You can find methi powder to face pack mud at INR 100 onwards.

They have a range of organically grown dry fruits from almonds, cashew, walnuts and pistachio. You can also go for dry fruits without their peel! One of the coolest things we found was the clay vessels that were kept there and YES! You can buy them with prices starting at INR 250. Bowls, plates and beautifully handcrafted utensils stole the thunder of all the munchies that were there!
