We love Vietnamese food and one of our favourite dishes is the banh mi. While this isn't an authentic recipe, it's close enough to the real deal because at the end of the day all that matters is eating good food. And when you have a good range of serveware to have your meals, it's taking your dining experience at home to the next level. We've used some really cool serveware and mini bowls to make this an interesting meal. You can check the brands listed in the video above on LBB. These are Manor House, Earth Heart and Home Struck. We've listed down the ingredients to make this veg banh mi.

Ingredients:

- Two banh mi or baguettes (we got ours from Local Ferment Co.
- Sliced cucumbers soaked in lime juice
- Sliced red onions pickled in vinegar
- Bird's eye chilli chopped and soaked in soy sauce + vinegar
- Mayo
- Chilli oil
- Soft tofu
- Soy sauce
- Coriander leaves
- Sesame oil

- Grilled the tofu pieces in sesame oil before making a scramble and seasoning it with soy sauce

- Mix chilli oil and mayo to form the base sauce. Apply this sauce onto the banh mi bread.

- Layer it with cucumbers before adding the scrambled tofu

- Add the chopped bird's eye chilli to your preference -- however spicy you like it

- Pour soy sauce over the mix before adding the pickled onions

You can enjoy the banh mi with some kombucha or as is. Check out the kombucha collection on LBB.
