Varq in The Taj Mahal Hotel is one of my favourite places to go to when I am craving sumptuous food.
I loved their Jasmine And Gin Prawn Tikka. The tenderness of the prawns with the perfect blend of Jasmine and Gin made it the perfect appetiser. Another dish that I loved was the Dilli 6 Chicken Curry, which was cooked in a traditional old Delhi style with just the right amount of spices added to it. The quantity of dish might just feel that it is not enough but it was sufficient for two. Another dish that we ordered there was Sheer-mal which complemented Dilli-6 Chicken Curry perfectly. The sweet flavour of Sheer-mal and the tangy flavour of chicken curry proved to be the best combination. We also ordered their Khameeri roti but you can ditch Khameeri roti for Sheer-mal.
For desserts, I would recommend everyone to try their Shahi Tukda which tasted delicious and we scraped the very last bite of it. It is definitely a must-have from their menu.
