Baar Baar is definitely a place to go for their unique take on traditional Indian dishes instead of makhani paneer it's called the Paneer Pinwheel. Chicken Changezi is, yup butter chicken but with a completely different presentation! And oh, of course, you must have the Malabar Prawn Sausage with Scotch Eggs, Cauliflower Kolivada, Roasted Pepper Onion Kulcha, Chicken 65, Kashmiri Duck Kulcha and I could just go on. The offerings are wonderful. In cocktails, the Leh Berry Collins was a hit with its turmeric gin and unique presentation. I especially liked the innovativeness of the dishes' preparations and the way they were presented. After talking to the chef I got to know they have other restaurants in New York with others soon opening in Chicago, Palo Alto.
They have 2 floors with a different feel and look. So depending on your mood you can plan a lovely sunny lunch next to the big open terrace or a fun-filled musical evening! So if you want to have something really good but different, you have to try Baar Baar.
