    Everywhere you look, seafood

    Brunch at Tamra is a grand affair- there are about a dozen counters all serving different cuisines. At the far end of the restaurant, you will be greeted by a pile of sea creatures sitting on a bed of ice. Say hello to succulent prawn, lobster, squid, crab and mini octopus. Served with a variety of sauces including a delectable cocktail sauce and a horseradish mayonnaise, you should plant yourself at this counter if seafood’s your jam.

    Right next to this, is the make-your-own-sushi counter. However, laziness had us picking out the pre-made sushi {special shout out to the Prawn Tempura}. Spice up your plate with some Amritsari Fish from the Indian counter and the Prawn Sui Mai from the Oriental one.

    Champagne bounty and coffee bites

    While you’re munching on your brunch, the servers are busy refilling your Champagne glasses every opportunity they get- we didn’t see our glasses half empty for more than ten seconds at any given time. All that bubbly and November weather had us wishing for an outdoor area.

    Given the sheer variety, there’s no way you’ll be able to take a bite of all that’s on offer, in addition to the seafood, we recommend a walk to the copper-finish tandoor {even if it’s just to look at it} and ending with the Chocolate Espresso Tart {the coffee is strong in this one and the chocolate, dark} or their home-made ice cream {again, they’ve nailed it with the coffee flavour}.

    PS: The Indian mithai can be given a miss. Just keep poppin’ those tarts.
