Arched bay windows, hardwood furniture, sea blue accents and loads of space, The Hook is a brewery with an amazing selection of seafood.

Mix 'n' Match

The Hook’s USP is that you can customise your meals – choose a meat, from crabs to octopus or from an impressive fish selection like Black Snapper, Tuna and Coral Trout, and then choose how you would like it made. The dishes are Asian-inspired with loads of Korean flavours – like their Mayo Seau Prawn and Crispy Korean Squid.

If you’d like to stay within your comfort zone, we’d recommend the Crab Crostini and Schezwan Lobster. There’s a regular menu of starters, mains and sides too – from Chilli Fish to Fish Shawarma and good old Fish Amritsari.

Beer Makes You Hungry

The Hook brews wheat, lager/pilsner, Dunkel Weizen as well as a brew of the month. We’d suggest getting a different beer for every course – start with the Thai Journey salad with all the goodness of peanuts, pineapple and veggies doused in a sweet chilli dressing. Their Indian starters pair really well with the Lager, especially the Paneer ke Dahi Bhalle and Paprika Chicken Tikka.

Mains include pizzas, sliders and sandwiches but if you’re really hungry then go whole hog with Balti Gosht, Muradabadi Biryani, Thai Curry or even a meal in a bowl. Since we have {or ought to have} a separate stomach for desserts, give their Paleo desserts a go. The Dirt Cake pairs really well with the Dunkel Wiezen!

So, We're Saying...

For an optimum experience, check with the server what the catch of the day is and then plan your meal.
