What Makes It Awesome

A match made in heaven — chocolate and coffee. And this heaven exists in Chhatarpur, known as Savorwork Roasters. It's India's first bean-to-bar and bean-to-cup under the same roof. That essentially means everything is done in-house, from roasting the beans to the end product.

You can see the beautiful and artistic process through the framed glass walls at the back of the cafe — roasting, mixing, and even 3D printing (we'll get to that in a bit). The co-founder and art director, Paweena, designs all the chocolate masterpieces herself.

In all honesty, we went just to try their coffee, but simply reading their extensive menu made us feel so hungry, we ended up eating more than planned. If you're like us and want to try something different, their signature coffee drinks should be your pick! We tried two — 'The Cafe Brulee' served in a champagne glass with torched toffee and notes of orange; and 'Aloha', a coffee-soda-based mocktail that grows on you after a few sips.

For food, their menu has quiches, toasts, sandwiches, pizzas, kinds of pasta, eggs, salads, fries, and the list goes on. We had the pesto pizza and penne chicken in arrabbiata sauce, and both didn't disappoint. One thing that we weren't sure about but ended up really liking were tofu fries, they're quite crunchy but still melt in your mouth. Paired with roasted peanut sauce, we think its easily our go-to order when feeling snacky now. Now coming to the desserts, the tiramisu comes in a 3D-printed chocolate cup, so the whole thing is 100% edible. Yes, they 3D print chocolate; how cool? The tiramisu itself is pretty good, but the chocolate cup adds just enough oomph! Plus, we've heard their affogato is to die for, so if you wanna have ice cream, try that.

And if you like to brew your own coffee then you'll be happy to know that you can order their specialty coffees online too.
