If you're still in your Barbie hangover or love-hate that Riverdale is finally ending, you need to pull yourself together and have a Strawberry Queen thick shake at Arlo's. Why? For starters, this American-style diner in HSR gets the Pop's Chock'lit Shoppe aesthetics down to the black-and-white tiles, and secondly, it's done up in pink so well that Greta Gerwig would appreciate it. Once you've settled down and taken in all that, you'll find that the menu is pretty easy and gives comfort food max—burgers, fries, and wings.
We ordered The Barbarian Fries because we misread it as The Barbie Fries and thought it might have some pink mayo drizzle but turns out it's much better—fries loaded with cheese, Nashville Chicken Tenders, and jalapenos. To wash all that down, a we had a Raspberry Blast. We skipped the wings, although the Firehouse Wings sound delightful and so we shall come back for it. The Nashville Burger was ordered and we quite liked the bun to patty to sauce ratio. Plus, a cripsy chicken fillet and a potato bun made us give the burger a thumbs up. The Atomic Heat Chicken Burger sounds spicy so that's something that will be tried on the next visit.
