Truly, our blessings are double in measure (whether we're practicing vegans or not) and it goes by the name Lucky Vegan. Founded by passionate vegan pals -- Karthic and Dash, Lucky Vegan has many, many feathers in its hat or should we say cheeses and dips at its deli/professional kitchen.
The idea for a venture like this came from wanting to give people and vegans in particular the opportunity to experiment with vegan ingredients at home, shares the duo. Their hope is also to make the conveniences of a deli a thing, while making everything available plant-based and in many cases gluten-free too. While it all sounds like a health trip thus far, it is, but the menu will also have you drooling and will make you take notice of its bold dishes.
Where else will you have heard of a fingerlicking Scallion Tofu Cream Cheese or divine and indulgent (yes, we know we're describing "vegan" cheese) Savory Vegan Chévre -- a tofu-cashew cheese log inspired by French Goat's Cheese, dressed with dried Italian herbs and sundried tomatoes (add-on), mmh! Aside from innovative vegan cheese, there are dips and spreads as part of the staple menu -- Classic Hummus, a crowd hit Muhammara and more. To keep things interesting in the kitchen, Lucky Vegan also has a Weekly Special, changes to be a Chili-Garlic Cream Cheese or Kale Pesto, and other dishes, each week.
