Healthy desserts — is there really such a thing? We did some investigating in the city and sniffed out some sweet treats that seemed like good enough healthier alternatives to some of our favourites. As much as we’re trying to be healthy this year, we do need our dose of dessert now, don’t we? At least on cheat days.  So maybe our list of healthy desserts will not make you feel guilty about indulging once in a while, yeah?

Chia Seed Berry Pudding At Nasi And Mee

Not only do we absolutely love Nasi and Mee’s special breakfast menu, they’ve even added some super healthy dishes as well. Give the Chia Seed Berry Pudding a try. Made of Pandan leaves and coconut milk and topped with wild berries, this one is a popular healthy dessert here and rich in nutrients. And there’s just something about the tanginess of the berries and texture of the chia seeds, that make this dish fun to eat too!

They also serve homemade granola with Greek yoghurt and fresh fruits, almonds, and cashew nuts. And they have healthy drinks as well like the green juice with {cucumber, celery and broccoli} Best way to kickstart the day and not stray away from your diet this year!

Fruit & Nut Yoghurt Parfait At Café Deconstructed

This fusion vegetarian café and restaurant in KNK has a regular menu that’s probably best you avoid if you’re on a diet. But turn to the last page of the menu and you can pick off something from the Nutrition section. We found a Fruit & Nut Yoghurt Parfait — a pot of Greek yoghurt with layers of fresh fruits and assorted nuts. A great pick-me-up before or after a workout, we think!
