Looking to buy second hand books but too lazy to make it to the Sunday book market in Darya Ganj? Here’s the fix. ‘Gyan Deep: The Book Shop’ in Agrasen Chowk, Kamla Nagar is home to thousands of pre-loved books across genres. The prices start at a meagre INR 50 for the second-hand books, and new books are priced at their normal retail prices.

You’ll find a huge variety of classics, and the store is perfect when you’re in the mood to just browse and pick up some off-beat books you haven’t really heard of.

Apart from Adult Literary books, they also sport a great collection for kids, which hits you right in the feels with some Enid Blyton and Roald Dahl nostalgia! The owner of the shop, Mr. Gupta, is a very sweet, old man who is more than happy to arrange the books you want if he doesn’t already have them in his collection, if you’re willing to wait for a bit and swing by again. The store opens at 10 AM till 7:30 PM in the evening, and is shut on Mondays.

A lot of these books were pre-owned by literature students, and tend to have scribbled notes on them. If you don’t particularly like that in your books, you might be disappointed.
