Iconic dishes and gourmet food are what we love the most specially when we are quarantined and cannot afford to step out of our houses.To make this extra special, let us tell you, that very recently, Taj has launched its home delivery service called Qmin where comfort food with all necessary precautions will be delivered right at your doorstep in Delhi/NCR. Exciting much?
As we got to know about this news, we were quite eager to try out the food. The digital menu of Qmin celebrates some of the iconic dishes from various restaurants of Taj located in Delhi/NCR. Some of the participating restaurants include House of Ming, Machan from Taj Mahal; Spicy Duck, Masala Art, and Capital Kitchen from Taj Palace; Thai Pavilion and Culina 44 from Taj City Centre, Gurgaon, and Yellow Brick Road from Ambassador.
To begin with, the process to order food is quite simple. You will have to call at their dedicated toll-free number to place your orders and you'll be good to go. We went ahead and placed our order for dumplings, Sarson Ke Phool, asparagus salad, noodles, kung pao chicken, green thai curry, dal makhani, dungar maas mutton, nalli gosht, pudina parantha, and of course, desserts. While the process of ordering was quite smooth, we also loved how the food was delivered to us. It was a contact-less delivery with their delivery executive using all protective gears.
Coming over to food, we were so much in love with Sarson Ke Phool which were basically broccoli flowers that were cooked to perfection and had tons of flavours. The asparagus salad was fresh and acted as a perfect base for our about-to-begin lunch which was basically noodles with kung pao chicken - the noodles were top, although we felt the gravy of kung pao chicken could have been better but that did not matter because we did get enough flavour from the noodles.
While our mind was officially in food coma, our dinner was packed with their super yum dal makhani (our mouth waters as we write), nalli ghost (best mutton dish ever!), pudina parantha, and desserts (tastiest Tiramisu and comforting rasmalai).
We are so happy that we didn't miss out workout that day (phew!).
