What Makes It Awesome?

One of the most unique places that we visited recently which is based on an amazing concept. The Balanced Plate Cafe located in Banashankari. Let's tell you what's special about this place. The place promotes mindful eating and that's their whole concept. The concept of mindful eating involves the consumption of a balanced plate meal and that's the reason for the name of the cafe. The cafe doesn't have valet parking as such, it's a small and cosy cafe. The tables too are small, has a bookshelf, and a few swing chairs.

Coming to the food we had. We kick-started the course with amazing Mushroom soup. The soup here was so good that we had to order it again.
We then had Mushroom hummus toast with it. The toast was perfect and any mushroom lover would definitely fall in love with it. We then had hummus and pita, their hummus was extremely good. Pita is usually normal everywhere.

We then tried their signature. An all-time customer favourite, the Dal khichdi. The dal kichdi here is the recipe of three different cuisines and inspired by their family. It was just amazing. We then had our plate of the balanced diet. We ordered Green eggs, what this contained was white egg cubes in pesto sauce which was served with baked potatoes and grilled veggies. This was the best, their balanced plates are usually curated based on the weight of an average Indian male.

So to finish we had their amazing Brownies, we tried Coffee, Double chocolate and Raspberry. Raspberry was our all-time favourite. The butter these brownies had made us so happy. This is one place we'll not miss again.
