Winter is here and you can treat yourself to warm, comforting flavours at Smoke House Deli’s Camp Grill. Crostinos, Double Corn Tacos, Lebanese Style Grilled Chicken, and Pork Spare Ribs serve as the highlights.

Happening exclusively at their Lavelle Road branch, Smoke House Deli’s Camp Grill is all about comfort food that’ll warm you up on a cold, cold day. On till December 10 {their Christmas specials kick in after that}, the food festival’s menu is sprinkled with lively flavours that Smoke House has come to be known for.

During a preview, we were treated to the special menu’s offerings, including, the crunchy Crostinos — slices of grilled bread topped with tomatoes, mozzarella, and basil. We also loved the Double Corn Tacos — mini tacos that came loaded with a silken filling of corn, sauces, and a fried up pepper to boot. The juicy slivers of Lebanese Style Grilled Chicken served with olives and a sprinkling of spices had our votes too but the unremarkable Curried Wings we could easily give a miss to.

When you want to load up on meatier stuff, we recommend you sink your teeth into the Pork Spare Ribs. Grilled just right, we loved the smokiness that seeped through every layer of the meat. The tender chunks of beef tenderloin drenched in a spice-packed sauce too was a winner and so were the peppery Lamb Chops.
