What Makes It Awesome

Looking for a hearty breakfast? Head to Social for pocket-friendly prices, breakfast of champions and small plates that draw inspiration from Rajasthan to Vietnam. Social’s all-day breakfasts are as popular as their generous brekkie trays. Take your pick from Saddlebags, blueberry pancakes with maple syrup, chicken sausages, fried eggs, and maple syrup or Andaas Apna Apna (eggs and toast the way you like it). Social’s Signature cocktails such as the Aacharoska (Caprioska served in a pickle vodka) or their Old Smoke (whiskey, orange zest, dill, sweet and sour mix plus smoke) are hits with us, as is the really tall The Longest Long Island Iced Tea and their shared cocktails such as Two Lost Souls Swimming In A Fish Bowl (Margarita with domestic or imported beer).

Craving small plates or bites to go with your beer, then look no further than their Double Grilled Naga Chilli Cheese Toast (our favourite), Them Potato Skins (with sour cream, chives, hooky smoked barbecue sauce and grilled Cheddar) or their Ladi Paos stuffed with everything from Lal Maas to Goan Choriz. On a day we feel like stuffing our faces, you can find us tucking into the Chilli Chicken Black Pepper China Box (with a choice of noodles or rice and a fried egg), and the Chicken Masala Biryani when we are feeling fat. Social’s desserts really believe in the maxim that you never eat too much dessert. Every dessert here is many-layered, deep-fried and equal parts sinful. Our favourite: PBJ & Bacon Amazeballs with Vanilla Ice Cream. When you’re low on cash but still want to have a stomping good time, make sure you set GPS to Social. Their music too will keep you upbeat especially with a chilled beverage in hand.
