Bubblegum Or Blueberry: Fluffy Tubs Is In The Business of Supplying Gourmet Cotton Candy

India’s first organic cotton candy is in Chennai! And you can now load up on Fluffy Tubs’ candy floss in flavours like blueberry, pineapple and bubblegum.

Fluffy Tubs came about in 2015, after the founder, Tharun Dharam, spotted a cotton candy vendor on a cycle on the beach. But a far cry for that sticky and unhealthy usual candy, this gourmet candy floss uses organic sugar and natural colours. The organic sugar is naturally whitened and then natural colouring is added to it depending on the flavour.

Currently, you can feast on flavours such as Lemon, Litchi, Pineapple, Bubblegum and Blueberry, which we hear, are made from natural extracts such as beets, marigold and even spinach. The flavours, however, are nature identical, though not 100 per cent natural. Still, better than the clumpy processed stuff, eh?

For those of you who are vegetarian or avoiding gluten, these products are meant to be completely gluten free, and also vegetarian. And if you’ve got any to spare {no really, they can be quite addictive}, then they make perfect gifts too. Especially since they are packed in airtight containers, have no preservatives and can last in cool environments for up to three months. Pick from the three sizes  — 15 grams {INR 70}, 30 grams {INR 100} and 40 grams {INR 150}. They don’t have a store, but their products are available in 120 stores around the city, including cafes and markets.
