The Hindu Theatre Fest is on and taking place in full swing across Music Academy, Museum Theatre, Alliance Francaise of Madras and the Goethe-Institut. The plays this year are all mainly centred around human stories with a mix of experimental theatre, epic re-tellings, classic re-inventions and more. The lineup includes Chandala, a work of Pondicherry-based Indianostrum Theatre that explores the idea of purity and its pollution. There is also Gauhar (The Primetime Theatre Company), Dvija (Theatre Nisha), Black Hole (Jyoti Dogra) and Every Brilliant Thing (QTP).
