An initiative run by a mother-daughter duo from Pondicherry, namely Anamika and Anukrithi, Clay & Glaze is the brand we’re talking about. On seeing how there’s a huge, untapped market in Pondicherry for stoneware pottery and clay pottery in general, these two decided to do something about it, and boy, are we glad they did!
There is a range of products for you to choose from starting with a very cute coffee mug that we spotted. They also have a great collection of teacups and gorgeous servewares. We also loved the davara-tumbler set made out of clay and ceramic bottle set. We found their ice blue handmade planters to be adorable too! The best part - they're all microwave friendly.
But these are just our favourites. They have an aesthetically pleasing Instagram page which promotes their stoneware and also their potters that also deserves appreciation. Price for cups and mugs starts from INR 250 and bowls start from INR 650.
