We're talking about Coco & Bees Co, an online brand making heavenly smelling beeswax products. You have Neha Chahar to thank for it who quit her full-time job as an HR to do something creative and then fell in love with beeswax and its magical properties. 'I love aromatherapy and using natural products, so I decided to try making a skin balm with beeswax for my Nani (maternal grandmother) as she had extremely cracked heels. It showed amazing results within a month and I was hooked. Then came the cuticle balm and finally candles. After multiple rounds of design and testing, I was able to get the perfect burn for my beeswax candles. Word spread and owing to some really great reviews, I started Coco & Bees Co'.
A better alternative to paraffin and soy candles, beeswax candles actually make for great air purifiers and Chahar makes sure she maintains this purity while crafting her scented beauties. Sustainable, aesthetic, made with natural beeswax, clean, cruelty-free, and hypoallergenic - there are many reasons why you should give her beeswax candles a shot! But from a strictly customer point of view, it's the unique blends she has used to get the perfect scent for her candles that makes the brand stand out. They've got flavours like Wild Roses ( a mix of dark rose, sandalwood, lemon, and carnations), Enchanted Forest (mix of Eucalyptus, Spearmint, wood), Dancing In A Tropical Paradise (mix of mango, coconut milk, pineapple, peach), Take Me Away and more - all inspired by travel and misery of being stuck at home during the lockdown.
In total, Coco & Bees Co has five different fragrant candles on offer (they are a blend of 8 to 9 notes) of which three come in glass jars and two in ceramic ones (slightly more expensive). But both are great for gifting. Even their wicks are made with natural fibres like cotton. They've got tapered candles and food-grade, pure beeswax candles (100 pct beeswax only) too. These come with lid jars with the smallest ones (about 30 grams) called Baby Bees being priced at INR 399 (set of two). These can last for about 7-8 hours. You can get the bigger, fragrant candles in frosted jars too - they look really pretty!
