What Makes It Awesome

A wedding location, straight out of Pinterest? We heard you! Rina’s Venue located in Injabakkam on the East Coast Road is definitely a lovely choice for a dreamy wedding. The 6,000 sq ft property can be rented out at INR 2,50,000 plus taxes for 24 hours and you could celebrate more than just one occasion at this vast courtyard. The courtyard also features huge lily leaves and floating flowers. You are welcomed by a pathway decked up with lights and it leads to a charming heritage house.

Rina's Venue has a typical Chettinad style courtyard space surrounded by wooden pillars right in the middle of the house to conduct all your ceremonies. Along with many cosy rooms for guests, there are vintage clocks, elegantly carved swings and Raja Ravi Verma's paintings on display. While the traditional house sets the right atmosphere to tie the knot, their sprawling lawn is the perfect place to exchange your vows. With many Buddha props and cement sculptures to brighten up your reception at their outdoor space, you can easily accommodate up to 1,100 guests. They have a spacious dining hall too!

Rina’s Venue not just provides you with a serene location but also assists you with all the decorations needed for the wedding. Their in-house team headed by Rina Venugopal takes care of everything from photo booths to getting colourful cycles for sangeeth, cosy cocktail party setups, themed seating, brass lanterns, glass hangings and more. They even have ponds all around so you could also take your photographer along for a lovely couple shoot as well, with a beautiful sunset view by the Buckingham Canal right behind the property. So, Chennai folks, if you’re looking for a venue with a traditional touch, head here!

Pro-Tip

Get in touch with the owners for customised themes in advance to avoid all the stress and running around on your big day. The venue is not open for corporate events, but on request, functions apart from weddings can be celebrated at half the price.
